TIME Magazine covers The Chuck and mentions a humble little fansite

Randy James over at TIME did a very nice little piece on The Chuck. In the piece, Chuckolytes and Viva Chuck Todd were recognized; as was the sad fact that Chuck no longer has the time to play the french horn. Well, The Chuck has his priorities straight at least. It's not like he was some Secretary of State who apparently had the time and resources to put on a piano recital for the Queen of England or anything.

It would be cool if he played duets with his fans. I'd whip out my violin, that goes well with a french horn...

I read the article and wept openly at the news that the beard was going no where. I never cared about looks when it came to my talking heads before, but I'm glad that NBC didn't shave him down, use the same plastic mold they do Uncle Keith's hair in and slap a fancy suit on him when they promoted him.

This article just proves that Chuck is the rightful heir-apparent to Tim Russert, a man widely admired as much for his boyish delight for his work as he was for his wonkyness. I have actually always liked David Gregory as chief White House correspondent and sometime fill-in host of Today. I even watched 1600. I still think Chuck should have got MTP.
