I have not sensed in him the need to be spiteful, or ego maniacal. Look at how he handled his little faux pas regarding the McCain Palin interview before the election. He has a little bothered by the fact that he made such a call in the first place. If you want my opinion on the leak, I think it's DG himself.

On a side note. I agree with PJ on Studio 60. Sorkin meeds to wake up and stop sending his stuff to network TV and start sending it to HBO and Showtime.D.B. There was a reason hundreds of thousands of ordinary citizens came to DC just to pass by the casket of Tim. These people as do I feel some things are not meant to be changed and Meet the Press is one of them. I am all about change, but some things are institutions. I am up in arms about this. Twitter other programs, but not Meet the Press. It is a serious program meant to reflect serious times.
I am also disappointed at the choice of Gregory the dancing reporter. I do like him, but I too was hoping for Chuck Todd or David Shuster. At least these guys would let the guests get a word in. Maybe you could bring Joe Scarbourgh along it could be the Gregory Scarbourgh show, both could talk and you wouldn't need any guests they could answer each others questions and all would be well with the world. Come on Mark get some control over there. Touch Howie all over and maybe he will go away.
Rebellion is needed here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7814438868094750241.post-48403122256167448292008-12-05T06:19:00.000-08:002008-12-05T06:19:00.000-08:00Oh COME ON. I don't know if any of you guys of obvious superior intellect at "Viva Chuck Todd" ever shared my personal observation that of all of the reporters on MSNBC, David Shuster comes the closest to holding the politicians feet to the fire like Tim did. I always hoped that if the position wasn't offered to the Chuckster, there would be a move to reformat the program to be co-hosted by both Chuck and Shuster. Of course NOBODY, including Shuster, could ever do what Tim did as well as Tim did it, but it seems like he was our best hope. Sit him next to Chuck Todd, and Sunday mornings would promise to be intellectually orgasmic!
David Gregory???? Kudos to the VCT editorial staff. Also I ...Classic. Kudos to the VCT editorial staff.

Also I must mention that I, like Aaron Sorkin, am still quite upset about the cancellation of Studio 60. Apparently, if it's a smart show, it will be doomed to failure amongst the reality-tv-obsessed American television viewer. Blech.

PJThe Pajama Pundithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16461649701173257688noreply@blogger.com
